ABOUT

THE STORY

In March 2020, I picked up my first camera. Ever since, photographing airplanes has become more than a hobby. From the boneyards of Mojave to the beaches of Sydney, my goal is to photograph aviation movements in all stages of flight. I never realized what was possible until venturing out to some of the world's most scenic airports. The beauty of airplanes inflight is magical but the stories behind them are just as amazing. I strive to emphasize the complexity and context of this global industry to tell 1000 words in a picture. My work would not have been possible without the amazing support of industry professionals including helicopter pilots, airport operations leads, air traffic controllers, airline/MRO experts and of course fellow hobbyists!

PHOTOS FOR MEDIA

Whether it's 2mm or 600mm away, on the ground or above, all forms of photography can be applied to articles in the media. The aviation industry is well-covered by local and international publications given its far-reaching impact on the movement of goods and people. Various events in the industry include a new destination for an airline, the retirement or delivery of aircraft, delays and cancellations, labor contracts, various commercial decisions, airport projects, loyalty programs, and much more. My photos strive to capture broad scenes that tell a story, adding more context to an article. Whilst most of my work focuses on commercial aviation, the private aviation space is also featured.
